Tips on SiteUnload are voluntary payments that customers may choose to send to estimators as a gesture of appreciation for excellent service, detailed estimates, accurate material takeoffs, or responsive communication.
Before confirming a tip, you see a transparent breakdown: the tip amount, any SiteUnload platform fee, and the estimated card processing fee collected by our payment provider (Stripe). The estimator's estimated net amount is shown as well. Processing fees shown before payment are estimates; actual provider fees are recorded on the transaction once payment is confirmed.
Because tips are voluntary gifts, they are generally non-refundable once delivered. SiteUnload may, at its sole discretion, issue a refund through our payment provider if a tip was sent in error (for example, a mistaken amount), if the payment was made fraudulently, or if a chargeback or dispute requires it. If you believe a tip was sent in error, contact us at exec@siteunload.pro promptly — refunds are processed through the payment provider, and a refunded tip is removed from the estimator's earnings.
SiteUnload currently charges no platform fee on tips. Any future fee policy will be published here and disclosed clearly before payment; it will never be applied retroactively to tips already sent. SiteUnload never charges an estimator's membership or listing subscription against tips.
All tips are processed by Stripe. SiteUnload never stores raw card numbers or card security codes. Each tip is recorded with its provider transaction reference, fees, and refund status, and tip transactions are kept separate from membership subscriptions and marketplace escrow transactions.
